Captain Ted’s, family owned and operated Santorini Sailing, was founded after a frustrated search for a sailing tour in Santorini. Apart from the larger traditional boats which went to only a couple of overcrowded locations, there were no organised sailing tours on the island.
Having sailed the Greek islands as a young boy, Captain Ted created a tour for visitors explore the beautiful beaches & bays in the Caldera, enjoy a delicious Greek BBQ and warm hospitality.
Santorini Sailing began conducting tours with an unprecedented level of service, luxury, safety and fun. What could be more inviting than lying on the deck of a beautiful luxurious catamaran.

The demand for our tours continued vastly to grow gaining recognition, great reviews and write ups in international press and social media. We have also been featured on several Travel Channel and Food Network shows including Samantha Brown’s “Passport to Europe” (2005 & 2010), “Giada in Paradise” and on “The Kardasians”.
We have proudly become Santorini’s # 1 activity on the island.

We are also thrilled to introduce the opening of the only Yacht Club on the island which is located on the picturesque beach in the Caldera. Guests joining us on a sunset tour will have the opportunity to experience “Beach & Sail”. Transportation to Santorini Sailing Yacht Club will be organised for guests to enjoy the facilities and breath taking view, prior to their tour.
